AFP JOINS SIMULTANEOUS PCSO MEDCAP

          The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office in partnership with the Armed Forces of the Philippines successfully conducted a one- day simultaneous Medical and Dental Mission nationwide last 06 September 2009 to celebrate its 75th Diamond Anniversary Celebration dubbed as “100 Percent One-Day Project “.

 

 

         Here in National Capital Region, Joint CMO Task Force - NCR through the Civil Military Operations Battalion participated in the remarkable endeavor that reached out 5,882 medical beneficiaries from the depressed barangays in the cities of Manila, Quezon, Caloocan, Navotas, Malabon and Taguig.

 

          The PCSO provided medicines, while the AFP provided medical and dental teams from the different medical and dental unit of the three (3) major services and reserve units.

          The project aims to provide fast access to medical and charity care from their institution and its partners to poor Filipinos all over the country in one day. It involved medical, dental, and feeding missions in the entire country in one day. It involved medical, dental, and feeding missions  in the inter country with the following are coverage : 100% of barangays in the Philippines for information gathering in the rest of the Philippines for medical and dental missions 100% of barangays in the rest of the Philippines for information gathering at  least one patient in need of charity assistance.
