CMO Battalion Conducts Free Medical and Dental Mission

          FORT ANDRES BONIFACIO, TAGUIG CITY – Once again with the collaboration effort of the personnel of Civil Military Operations Battalion, Civil Military Operations Group, Philippine Army (CMOBn, CMOG,PA) with the help of different non-government agencies and members of the Passion for Christ Nationwide Ministries, a non-profit organization sponsored the conduct of Free Medical and Dental Mission with Free Haircut services to the less fortunate populace of Taniman Extension, Talanay Area B, Brgy Batasan Hills, Quezon City on 10 September 2011.

 

          A total of 1145 residents where benefited, 86 availed for free Body Massage offered by I Learning Center, 100 availed for free Dental, 200 availed for free eye glasses, 632 availed for free Medical and 127 availed for free haircut offered by soldier barbers from CMO Battalion. Said Medical mission was very much appreciated by the LGU’s of Brgy Batasan Hills, Quezon City headed by Barangay Councilor Jojo Abana.“Lubos-lubos na nagpapasalamat po yong aming mga residente sa CMO Battalion, Philippine Army, malaking tulong ito para sa amin, sana maulit muli at idadalangin namin na sana marami pang matulungan ang Hukbong Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas natin at sana ay hindi lamang dito sa Batasan Hills”, according to him.

 

          The activity shows evidence of the continuous partnership of different stakeholders in helping the less fortunate through the delivery of basic health services and to prove that the AFP is sincere in serving the Filipino people.
