CMO Battalion touches Caviteņos lives

        Soldiers from Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Civil Military Operations Group, Philippine Army led by LTC NASSER D ALONTO together with the Light of Men Ministries Inc, volunteers from First Mount Zion Baptist Church, Darangan Christian Church and Local Government Units conducted a Medical and Dental Mission at Brgy. San Luis I and II, Bagong Bayan, Dasmariņas Cavite, on 30 July 2011.

 

        A total of 861 beneficiaries received free medical consultation, free dental check-up, free eyeglasses, free haircut and free medicines. The Medical mission was very much appreciated by the Local Government Units of Brgy San Luis I and II headed by Barangay Captain Erlindino Patalbo. He was very much grateful and surprised that the CMO Battalion approved their request to conduct medical and dental mission considering that Barangay San Luis was far enough and required 2 hours of travel from Metro Manila where CMO Battalion is located.

 

       The Armed Forces of the Philippines through the help of other splendid organizations are always willing to help and deliver basic services to the urban poor especially those who are located in far-flung areas.
