CMOBn Conducts Free Medical and Dental Mission

        FORT ANDRES BONIFACIO, TAGUIG CITY - Once again with the collaboration effort of the personnel of the Civil Military Operations Battalion, Civil Military Operations Group, Philippine Army (CMOBn, CMOG,PA) and Armed Forces of the Philippine Reservist Command (AFPRESCOM), with the different non-government agencies and members of the Light of Men Ministries Inc., a non-profit organization sponsored the conduct of Free Medical and Dental Mission with Free Haircut services to the less fortunate populace who resides along the railways of Brgy. 868, Pandacan, Manila on June 11, 2011.

 

        Barangay Chairman, Honorable Jonathan M Carrasca said in behalf of the Brgy Officials and residents of the said barangay "Nagpapasalamat ako sa kasundaluhang bumubuo sa CMOBn at sa mga miyembro ng Light of Men Ministries Inc., Alam ko po na kaya nilang tumulong sa kagaya ko na namumuno sa isang depressed na lugar. Sana po hindi lang ang barangay namin ang inyong matulungan gayundin po sa mga karatig kong depressed na barangay na nangangailan din po ng inyong tulong", expressing their utmost appreciation for the conduct of said activity that benefited a total of 940 beneficiaries, wherein 740 residents availed the free Medical check-up, 57 availed free Dental Services, 85 for Ophthalmology check-up, 9 for Family Planning Seminar and 49 availed the free haircut.

 

       The activity exhibits the collaboration effort of the different stakeholders in helping the less fortunate through the delivery of basic health services and to prove that the AFP is sincere in serving the Filipino people even in the simplest way possible with the end state of winning the peace in a diplomatic way.
