The Real Face of Local Insurgent's Movement
Agnes Lopez Reaño
Class orientation and class struggle are gospels of the Communist Party of the Philippines and all its controlled front organizations that carry the national democratic line. There are no gray areas here. Either you are an enemy or a potential ally. If you are a class enemy, any methods of elimination are justified against you. The mere demonstration of the methodology of physical elimination is more than enough to strike terror in the hearts of those harboring any thought of engaging the Communist in an ideological, political and organizational skirmish. The long list of those who crossed swords with the insurgents are statistical laurels of blood debt and terror that CPP/NPA have commited against the state, and against the Filipino people. The national undertone of the CPP/NPA/NDF armed struggle is all but a charade and the likes of Jose Maria Sison and his cohorts are all charlatan. The Communist are continually cheating on the aspirations of the Filipino people. Pretending to be saviors but are not. Let's take a look of who are these people.
All CPP members have originated from the petty-bourgeois class. Sison's class origin could be traced to Chinese caciques that have migrated to many parts of Ilocos Sur where his family has settled in Cabigao at the end of the 19th Century. As a matter of fact, Sison failed to exorcise himself with all tinges of Petty-Bourgeios habits and cultural bias. This is clearly shown by his continued refusal to lead the revolution from the natural habitat of the NPA Guerillas.
The CPP Propaganda, however, has consistently drummed up in the media that the National Democratic Revolution is a continuation of the 1986 EDSA revolution. The Communist have therefore anointed their brand of revolution with a nationalistic tone although in reality they are not Nationalists but Internationalists waging a proletarian revolution under the banner of the international communist movement, which I doubt if it still exist.
Take note that during the Balkan War, the local radical under the Baton of the party’s cell inside the front mass organizations openly supported Milosevic against the Americans and demanded in front of the US Embassy the cessation of the bombings of Belgrade, Yugoslavia. Are there any records to show that the CPP and its Front Organizations openly denounced China for her surreptitious installation of permanent structures in the Spratleys? Neither there is any show of condemnation against Vietnam on the same issue of controversial claims in the Spratleys.
The Party’s minion had the gall to throw their support of Saddam Hussein during the Gulf War in 1991, purposely bacause of Saddam’s firm stand against the United States and her allies. Taking a religious tone on this matter, I am categorically saying that if Lucifer will go public in denouncing the United States and the Philippines, the CPP-NPA-NDF and all its allies will support Lucifer, even laud or glorify him for his anti-imperialist stand. The Maoist Dictum “Whoever stand against our enemy is our friend and potential ally” holds true on this matter of seeking political alliances by the Communists.
A thin thread of subjective opportunism separates the CPP’s support of perceived enemies of the people, and their objective assessment of involved political realities that made its decision to throw that support to Saddam, Milosevic, and a recent vintage to the so-called “Civil Society” where we are shocked by the spectacle of Communist cadres toasting champagne with elite and political luminaries and the rest of the minions of its hated ruling class: All in the name of their alliance against the government.
It follows along this line, that it must be the business of the NPA Guerillas, and the CPP’s clandestine group inside front organizations that have mushroomed in the cities, to destroy the stable image of the Government, to deny its credits, to dry up its sources of revenue, and to create dissension within the frightened owning classes, within the government bureaucracy, and within the military itself. |
